The easel comes with a chalk board on both sides. Solid hardwood construction and hinged at the top to close flat for easy storage. The side brackets hold the easel open when in use. Made in the USA!. NOTE: Always "break-in" to season the black chalkboard before use. Total size: 42" tall and 24" wide. Chalkboard size: 27" tall x 21-1/4" wide. Thickness: 2.5" when closed
