Our history:
Signs Direct was conceived as an "online only" mail-order sign business by Tom Dalton back in 2000. We started in Normal, Illinois from an office in the founder's home. For the first 5 years Signs Direct was called "StandardSigns.com" and focused on just that. We had braille signs and parking signs and bathroom signs and every type of popular standard sign that we could come up with. Then we grew to include custom signs and all sorts of sign stands. We decided the the name no longer fit and in 2006 we officially changed the business name to "SignsDirect, Inc". Over the years Signs Direct has grown from an office in the owner's home to a 28,000 square foot warehouse at 1703 South Veterans Parkway in Bloomington, Illinois.
